Harts (still) on Tour!

This month has been a whirlwind of EPICNESS – and we’re not even done yet!

Here’s just a few of the magical moments so far!

The CIPD ACE in Manchester was all about  ‘Bad Bosses’ and ‘Stepping up to your Greatness’ with the SPLENDIFEROUS Debra Corey and Ken Corey  – it was truly brilliant!

The Thrive Law People Summit was an AMAZING day full of great speakers and awesome connection.

 

And  whilst there aren’t any pics from my ‘gentle release’ therapy from last week…

It was totes AMAZIIIING!!!

Connecting back to who you are is so important – especially when it comes to burnout!🔥

I believe that the cure to burnout is connection – to yourself, your body, your family, society, life…

🥰 And this wonderful therapy has been the missing link for me in how I can connect back to myself and my energy.

And that’s pretty darn cool!

Being a Sparkly Introvert

Those of you who know me, know I BLOODY love a podcast guest spot!

So how could I say no when the wonderful and splendiferous duo that is Bobby Davis FIoL FCIPD PCC and Bridget Forster asked me to come on to an episode of More than a Lumpy Jumper!

My BIG ‘aha’

Burnout was my big ‘aha!’ Moment – because I’d lost all of the things that kept me moving and smashing out the work:

❌ I couldn’t think
❌ I couldn’t stop crying
❌ my heart raced constantly
❌ my mind wouldn’t switch off
❌ I had no attention span for anything

 

It took me a really long time to get back to me – and my biggest realisation was that I was spending my precious energy on being something that I wasn’t.

 

So I started to work on who I really was, and what was stealing my energy – because I’d broken my brain I had to start small and slow.

 

If you’ve ever seen me speak, you’ll know that I started with 1% actions that helped me to be the me-est me

✨ nail polish (just a shimmer topcoat to start!)
✨ wearing more colour, standing my my principles and
✨ advocating for me

 

I am passionate about be 1% steps because those are what saved me.

 

So… what 1% steps can you take from TODAY to help you be more you?

 

By Monday you’ll be 5% more you, and the following week it’ll be 10%, and my Christmas it’ll be another 25%!
